Privacy Policy

1. What information we collect

• At sign-up: email, full name, phone number, whether you're a buyer or seller, and the date you gave consent.
• While using the service: the vehicle numbers you've viewed (for the "My reports" feature) and a daily usage counter.
• An anonymous visitor ID (cookie) — solely for the purpose of the free-report quota.
• Analytics (PostHog) — collected only after you approve cookies. The vehicle number itself is never sent as an event.

We do not collect or store vehicle owners' details (name, address, or phone number) — in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law.

2. How we use the information

To provide the service (sign-in, displaying reports, and saving your history), to prevent abuse, and to improve the product. We do not sell your information.

3. Cookies

• Functional: sign-in identifier (session), visitor ID, and your consent choice.
• Analytics: loaded only after you approve them in the cookie banner. You may decline.

4. Retention and deletion

We retain your account data for as long as the account exists. Deleting an account from "My account" permanently deletes the account, sign-in tokens, sessions, report history, and your quota.

5. Your rights

• Access and correction: via "My account".
• Deletion: the "Delete account" button in My account, or by contacting us.

6. Data security

Sign-in and session tokens are stored hashed, not as plain text. That said, no service is completely secure.

7. Data source

Vehicle data comes from the Ministry of Transport's open databases (data.gov.il).

8. Changes and contact
